Tooth Paste

Many brands of tooth paste are on display in pharmacies and supermarkets making choosing a toothpaste difficult.

In truth any tooth paste containing fluoride is good for you, whether it be stannous fluoride, sodium fluoride or mono fluoride phosphate.

If you don't already have a favourite try Colgate Total. It's a favourite of many dentists because it also contains triclosan, an anti-bacterial agent.

For individuals with a high incidence of dental decay a special fluoride tooth paste such as Colgate's NeutraFluor may be recommended. This can only be purchased from a dentist or pharmacist.
